The press have been covering childhood obesity for a very long time. But it does seem that it has had little effect, especially in the US where it has reached epidemic proportions.

We are not here to discuss how it happens or who is to blame as we all know what the causes are. The health dangers to children who are officially obese or certainly overweight are enormous and potentially life-threatening in later years. Suffering physically and even psychologically is what a noticeable percentage of an entire generation experience. As well as having to endure being a teen, they should not have to put up with the brutality from their peers for being overweight. Let’s take a closer look at what the obese child is facing, today.

Obese teenagers have a really hard time developing normally in these areas. This causes a teenager to leave high school at distinct developmental disadvantages.
